A theme is a JSON file: a manifest, the content it carries, the styling tokens, and the media referenced inline. Applying one replaces every set it names and leaves accounts, orders and settings alone.

Settings → Themes seeds a demo site on a fresh install, and accepts a theme file from anywhere.
